Ok short and simple I have played sc2 semi professionally but right now i'm on extended break(Please no hate). So my warframe is lvl 30 my primary and mellee weapon both are. At this moment i am not really close to another warframe or particularly interested in building and leveling a new frame or weapons unless of course i can get my hands on a prime of course which from what little i know that's another topic entirely.ATM my moding focus on my frame focuses mostly on survivability mods like shields and health and some of my frame abilities like dash and blind(I have had a hard time finding a trully worthwhile use for jump).
Mellee focuses on mostly on just doing dmg in whatever way i can though i've started to notice channeling is important for my frame. Primary braton i've been modding mostly for ammo capacity and reload reload timing, also through some serration and poison in there to give it a little more oomph.(I've recently began dabbling with fusing also but i dont really understand right now but i have learned how to max serration which i've read can be useful).Please i appreciate tips suggestions things i'm doing wrong that could be better.

While they have potential to be slightly better optimized in terms of polarities, they are not overwhelmingly more or less powerful than the original Warframe, so it may be prudent to farm for more reliable frames before the Prime versions.I've recently began dabbling with fusing also but i dont really understand right nowcovers this topic very wellthings i'm doing wrong that could be better.You can't ever do 'wrong!' Slash Dash has noticeable fall off against armoured targets such as grineer heavies and corpus robotics. You will be depending on your weapons to kill enemies and radial blind to survive so prioritize getting a Streamline mod for reducing the cost of your abilities.You should change your weapons, excalibur can show you the starsystem but there's only so far a braton can take you.Primaries:.Tetra large mag, good fire rate, puncture makes it great against grineer, suffers a bit against infested heavies especially healers.Karak small magazine, average damage and rate of fire with great accuracy and reload speeds. This is the ' this is my rifle' rifle. Noticeably low overall damage, mods increase damage by percentage so when the base is low, the bonus mods give is also low.Hek massive base damage and fairly accurate. Even though it does mainly puncture damage the base damage is so high you will be one-shotting everything for a while.Boltor Tetra's tenno made brother, basically the same only with faster projectiles.Burston mastery fodder, only get this gun if you plan on playing for a long while, get it to 30 then junk it.Latron great rifle.
Performs well against all factions. Worth keeping until you can get a latron prime.Paris stay at a distance and take out your enemies, if you're being swarmed this is useless.Cernos and Vulkar IMO High burst low fire rate impact weapons are not in a good spot atm. Avoid these weapons.That's just my thoughts on SOME of the weapons you can get from the market, the ones I didn't mention are either locked behind high mastery walls/ clan tech or I used them a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away during damage 1.0, many changes toke place during that time and my impressions of them back then would not be accurate to today.As for secondaries use any you like except the balistica. I played hella casually during S1 and left shortly afterwards. I was a big fan of day9 and husky and I watched some HD too since those guys were the first things you got when you went on youtube back then. I heard HD quit and started playign poker. ): I got Plat in s1 playing 1base zerg all in roach rush which was basically 7 roaches @ 5 mins or something. I watch some vids today and it seems as zerg you're supposed to have 3 bases at the 10 min mark and NOT die somehow?. Prime warframes are basically just visual/prestige things, with only very minor differences outside of cosmetics (if any) from there standard counter parts.To use Ember Prime as an example the only real difference besides polarities (the symbols in the mod slots) is that she can use fireball while reloading, which while nice does not have a dramatic effect especially since many builds don't even use fireball.The rank of your equpiment, doesn't matter 'too much' aka your frame being 1-30, obviously you want it to 30 but the real power of the weapons comes from the mods you put in them.
Mods get progressively stronger as you level them through fusion, what might get you +20% at lv1 might give you + 200% at max level. So for leveling/power purposes you should be focusing on getting important mods and ranking them up.Besides mods you have polarities and 'potatoes'. Potatoes refer to Orkin Catalysts and Orkin Reactors, these items allow you to upgrade an item doubling the number of mod points the item has. So a lv30 a vanilla weapon will have 30 mod points, but if you use an Orkin Catalyst on that weapon at lv30 it now has 60 mod points. As mentioned above the strength of your items is largely determined by your mods so being able to equip twice as many mods point wise is a big deal.Then we have polarities, these are the symbols on the mod slots. If you put a mod in the slot that matches the symbol its point cost will be cut in half. If you put a mod that doesn't match the symbol its cost gets increased, and if you put a mod in a non-polarized slot (no symbol) its just normal costed.
You can add polarities and change polarities on your items with Forma. To use a Forma on an item it has to be lv30 and you change one slot with one Forma, the items rank is then reset back down to lv0 and you need to level it up again.So what this basically results in, is that end game/high end items have been upgraded with a potato for more mod points, and then have been Forma'd multiple times for your specific mod build so that you can run max rank mods of all the mods you want within the mod point limit.So if you plan to stay in your Excalibur for a long time then consider getting it an Orkin Reactor to double its mod points. As for as builds you should focus on Slash Dash and Radial Blind. Slash Dash is mostly for mobility, as its damage is not great. Radial Blind is a very strong CC effect, also while blinded enemies take significantly extra melee damage. To this end you will want to get Streamline, Flow, Stretch, and Energy Siphon these 4 mods together will make almost any frame very energy efficient and Stretch will help make your Radial Blind have a larger AoE.As far as weapons go. Look towards getting a Boltor for your primary weapon, it needs mastery lv2 but its a good balanced rifle.

For your melee you have plenty of options but I'd suggest looked towards the dual zorens, these are also mastery lv2 required but will give you good mobility and can realistically compete with the dual ichors (basically there bigger badder cousins who are top of the line good).TL;DR, Farm mods and upgrade them, consider getting some potatoes for your 'main' stuff, and the bolter/dual zorens are good early weapons to aim for. For serious endgame play, a radial blind range/efficiency build is one of the best ingame.Some things you need to know: duration does not prolong the initial stun/melee bonus of radial blind, only the secondary confusion effect. Do not build for duration.With streamline and fleeting expertise you can achieve 12.5 energy blinds, effectively allowing you to permablind. This goes through walls, meaning that if you avoid massive open areas you can essentially never take damage while camping chokepoints.Use silent weapons such as paris prime/dread/despair and avoid loud sentinel weapons/remove sentinel weapons altogether.
This will reduce the chances of catching an errant grenade from blinded enemies, which at high levels can 1 shot you. Tigris PrimeProbably the most vicious shotgun in the game, the Tigris Prime is capable of the kind of single target damage that makes you wonder if there is any threat in the game that can stand up to its insane damage output. I like to maximize Slash damage and build into Radiation and Viral damage to take advantage of those vicious Slash procs. This beast can be modded to reach 100% Status Chance, and the double fire mechanism means that whatever doesn't die when you click your mouse button absolutely will when you let it go again. The only real downsides are the reload and single target focus, but this is a constant companion for Sortie Assassinations, or anything with a lot of high scales, heavy armor.

Rubico Prime. My go-to weapon for Eidolon Hunting, this is the only Sniper Rifle that makes my list. Sorry to the Lanka and Vectis fans, I think the damage out of the Rubico is more than enough to be competitive, and the rapid-fire nature of this particular Sniper Rifle puts it a step above the competition. Lots of Forma, Radiation damage and Critical Chance and Damage mods make Eidolon hunting a breeze. Arca PlasmorThe Arca Plasmor has been a ridiculously good weapon since it arrived in the game, and it has held onto its status as one of the most popular weapons in the game despite some nerfs.
Ridiculous damage out, 100% Status Chance potential, and insane room clearing ability make this a fantastic choice at any point in the game. I like to lean hard into Blast and Radiation damage with this one, just because I really like watching things die. Gotten in the form of a drop from the Stalker, the Dread has been a highly regarded bow in Warframe since the Stalker first arrived. Huge single target damage potential, it is popular among people who like to run stealth frames, or just challenge themselves a little more when it comes to their aim. With a starting Crit Chance of 25%, the Dread can easily achieve the beloved Red Crits with the right mods. It also has innate Punch Through, for when you really want to kill a few birds with one stone.
High Slash damage and good Status Chance means a lot of Slash procs, so building some Viral damage on this one is a great idea. LenzWhile the Lenz isn't everyone's cup of tea, I adore it. A bow that does massive AoE damage? What more could you ask for?
Some folks struggle with the fact that the Lenz can kill you with the damage it does if you are careless or unlucky, but I love running it on Limbo. Shoot, then sidestep for that sweet immunity and reload, then sidestep and shoot again. Capable of massive damage output due to it's high Critical and Status Chance, the only real downside is that ammo for it is so limited. Still, just run a Carrier as your companion, and that should cover things nicely. It also looks amazing, which get bonus points from me.
Tiberon Prime. With three firing modes, covering Burst, Auto, and Semi-Auto, the Tiberon Prime is hugely adaptable, depending on what you are shooting at the time. A ridiculous base Critical Chance of 28% on the Burst fire mode and 30% on Semi-auto means it also rewards the more skilled players among us. It combines this with solid Status Chance and base damage and a great damage profile against all enemies in the game to really be worth your time. Combine with a Riven for one of the most joyous experiences you can have in the game as everything just melts before you.

BazaI sometimes think the Baza gets slept on a little bit, but it is pretty much my go-to weapon for any mission involving stealth. Complete silent, with a great Critical Chance, this thing will melt an enemy before they even know you are there. I have only really noticed issues against the highest level enemies, but when you are running stealthy missions you should only ever be fighting a few of these, or else you are doing it all wrong anyway. High accuracy and low recoil mean this thing is a laser, but you do want to get up close and personal with enemies due to its damage falloff over distance. Sitting in a similar spot as the Ignis, the Amprex is designed to clear rooms.
Warframe Best Mods For Excalibur
I personally find the Ignis Wraith a bit more effective at high levels, but I would argue the Amprex is superior at rapidly clearing mobs at lower levels because its damage will arc between them. While the Ignis leans into Status effects, this one is all about hitting those Criticals, so build lots of Critical Chance and Critical Damage.
You can also largely ignore the negative effect that some damage mods will have on accuracy to really drive those numbers through the roof. The real downside is the limited range compared to the Ignis, but I like to pair this with fast moving Warframes because range doesn't matter when you can rapidly close the distance between you and the bad guys. Opticor VandalThe Opticor Vandal left some fans of the classic Opticor a little cold, but I adore it.
I will happily trade off the increase rate of fire for some missing damage, and even then the damage output from this weapon is still very impressive. You'll need to take part in the Buried Debts event if you want to get your hands on it, and I really feel it is worth your time. Very high Critical Chance, Critical Multiplier and Status Chance mean there isn't many enemies in the game this weapon can't deal with. Supra VandalCurrently only available from Baro Ki'Teer from 250,000 Credits and 500 Ducats, this is an incredibly fun rifle to use.
It will absolutely hurl rounds down range when fully spooled up, and is capable of reaching 100% Status Chance. It also comes with a huge magazine and large ammo reserves, meaning you don't rapidly run dry, despite the rate of fire it can reach.So there you go Tenno, my list of what I consider to be the best primary weapons in the game right now. I'd bet my Excalibur Prime that you can have good fun with all of these and that they are worth spending some Forma on to really get the best out of them.
